The annual Downriver Fanfare, hosted by Roosevelt High School in Wyandotte, takes place Tuesday, October 3 this year.
This year, fourteen bands will be attending the Downriver Fanfare in competition. The event begins at 4:55PM with the National Anthem; competition starts at 5:00PM.
Competition order is Class C, B, and then A. There will be two award ceremonies during this event. The first, for Class C and B bands, will take place at 8:00PM, which also happens to be a break during Class A competition. Awards for Class A (9:45) will follow Roosevelt’s exhibition performance (9:15), and a performance by the Wayne State University marching band (9:30).
