It’s Tuesday, October 6. That can only mean one thing: Downriver Fanfare, the only Tuesday Marching Band competition that we know of.

Downriver Fanfare

Downriver Fanfare is hosted by the Wyandotte Roosevelt Marching Band at their stadium (540 Eureka Rd., Wyandotte, MI 48192). The event begins at 5:00 PM. Nine bands are competing, and Wyandotte Roosevelt performs in exhibition. Additionally, the Alma Kiltie Marching Band will perform in exhibition prior to awards. Click here for more information.

As has been the case in years past, this contest is also being broadcast at BandDirector.com. This broadcast is free, and an excellent option for those who cannot attend the contest in person.
