After what was easily the hottest day for fall marching band that I can remember, it’s nice to know going into this weekend, that the forecast is to be cooler! From shorts to jackets in one short week; Michigan always surprises us! This Saturday, there are five contests that we’re reporting on.

Pontiac
While not themselves competitive, Pontiac hosts their annual marching invitational for area corps-style bands. Despite reaching out to Pontiac, we were unable to obtain a formal schedule. We do know that ten bands will be competing, and the stated start time is 1:00PM. Anchor Bay has stated their performance time is 3:45PM. Based on this, we expect there is a break somewhere in the event.
