The second Saturday of October marks a landmark for one school: this is the first time Vicksburg is hosting a competition. Additionally: Allendale, Linden, Grant and Livonia Franklin also host contests. More than 50 bands will perform this weekend for judges.
Allendale
Allendale starts at 4:00 PM, with competition beginning at 4:15 PM. Class performance order is: D, C, B, A, AA.
D and C Awards will be at 6:20 PM. Awards for B, A, and AA will occur at 8:30 PM.

Linden
Linden also starts at 4:00 PM, with the first band performing at 4:15 PM. Class performance order is: D, C, A. Awards for all classes will occur at 6:15 PM.

Vicksburg
This is Vicksburg’s first time hosting. Admission is $5. The National anthem will be performed at 2:55 PM, with competition beginning at 3:00 PM. Class performance order is: B, D, A, C.
Awards for Classes B and D will be at 5:00 PM. Awards for classes A and C will be at 8:15 PM.

Grant
Competition at Grant begins at 6:00 PM. Flight performance order is: IV, III. Awards for all Flights will be at 7:45 PM.
Admission is $8 for Adults; $6 for Students and Seniors. The football stadium is located at the Middle School, which is on the same campus as the high school. Arrive early; parking near the stadium is minimal.

Livonia Franklin
Livonia Franklin’s contest begins at 3:55 PM. The Emerson Middle School band performs at 4:00. Competition begins at 4:15 PM. Flight performance order is: IV, I, II. Awards for all Flights will be at 6:45 PM.
We expect Admission to be $8 for Adults, and $6 for Students/Seniors.
