Saturday, September 10, 2011 is MCBA Field Day, hosted by South Lyon High School. MCBA Field Day is the “kick-off” event for MCBA, which acts as a non-competitive preview show for MCBA bands. Bands perform, receive feedback, and then perform again. Not only do the bands get to “test the turf,” but the judges dust off the MP3 recorders and gear up for what I am expecting to be an exciting MCBA season.
